On Friday, 27th January we are holding an Open Day at The Media Centre and we will be showing the trailer for Connected as well as a few selected highlights from the film. So please do come and join us for a glass of wine at any time between 12 noon and 9.00pm and bring your friends as well. We’d love to see you. For catering purposes, it would help enormously if you could just let us know via email if you are able to come down and how many friends you might be bringing with you.
The Media Centre is a fantastic venue and offers several wonderful spaces for hire including a gallery and a film studio. The beauty of the place is that it is so adaptable. It can be used as a photographic and film studio, an exhibition gallery, an edit suite, a voice-over studio, a performance space and also for conferences, workshops, rehearsals, meetings, launches and parties. The area also has a licenced bar facility as well.
For those with some technical knowledge of cameras, we will have the fantastic RED camera set up (Connected was shot on RED) as well as the brand new Canon C300. Canon are joining forces with us for our launch on the 27th to promote their own camera. The RED and the Canon will be available for hire along with the film studio. We will also have the photographic studio set up, and anyone who would like to have their photo taken under studio conditions – free of charge – may do so!
